Who would have thought a former spice girl would become not only a modern day style icon, but one of the most popular designers of today. Victoria Beckham's tailored designs have been spotted on celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Drew Barrymore and Demi Moore to name a few. Flattering a wide range of different body shapes, Beckham's designs are a blend of structured lines and feminine features.

Arguably the second most anticipated outfit behind Catherine Middleton in the royal wedding, Beckham didn't disappoint, wearing a navy dress from her 2011 Fall collection, accessorised with a Victoria Beckham clutch.

Long Live McQueen - Royal Wedding Part 2

For the evening celebrations, Catherine Middleton chose another Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen gown. With a jewel embellished waistband and cropped white mohair cardigan, this look was a lot simpler than her wedding dress.

Here's a sketch of the gown which was worn by Prince Harry's on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy by fashion house Alberta Feretti for the evening celebrations.

At the wedding, Princesses of York, Beatrice and Eugenie wore quite contrasting looks. Staying true to her British roots, Princess Eugenie stood out wearing a bright blue Vivienne Westwood dress with three bows across the front jacket. Choosing to wear Valentino instead of a British designer, Beatrice wore a Valentino Spring 2011 Couture coat and dress. Both girls wore Philip Treacy fascinators.

Crown Princess of Sweden wore a long sleeved, peach Eli Saab dress from his 2011 Spring collection.

Zara Phillips, daughter of Princess Anne arrived with her fiancee rugby player MIke Tindall. She was wearing a monochromatic silver bespoke Paul Costelloe dress with a large black hat.

Carole Middleton, Catherine's mother, wore a light blue Catherine Walker blue wool crepe coatdress with matching satin piping over a light blue silk shantung day dress. Catherine Walker was a favourite designer of the late Princess Diana. Middleton's hat was made by British designer Jane Corbett.

Standing out from the crowd in what one commentator called "the sexiest outfit" of the day, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg's wife Miriam Gonzalez Duantez, a spanish attorney, wore a bright ref flower fascinator and figure hugging silver dress with polkadot lace overlay.

British socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson wore head-to-toe bright blue. Wearing a Deborah Milner dress accessorised with matching gloves, Nicholas Kirkwood heels with pearl detailing and a a boat-shaped Philip Treacy fascinator.

Wife of Saudi Prince Al Walid bin Talal, Princess Ameerah Al Taweel, looked stunning in a beautiful custom made Zuhair Murad couture coat dress. Made from satin, the dress was accentuated with silk lace and hand embroidered organza flowers.

CORRECCIONES DE NARIZ

1.      Nariz gruesa:

-Correcciones oscuras en los laterales y punta de la nariz, y claras en la parte media desde el entrecejo sin llegar a la punta.

-Los ojos irán bastante marcados.

-Cejas oscuras, espesas y separadas del entrecejo.

-El labio superior irá grueso y marcando poco el corazón. Usar tonos fuertes y nacarados.

2.    Nariz fina:

-Aclarar los laterales y oscurecer la parte media hasta la punta de la nariz.

-Ojos suaves.

-Cejas finas y lo más aproximadas posible al entrecejo.

-Labio superior fino y bien marcado el corazón en triángulo. Usar tonos suaves y mates.

3.    Nariz aguileña:

-Correcciones oscuras en el caballete y punta de la nariz, y en el espacio que queda en medio corrección clara.

-Ojos bien marcados.

-Las cejas irán lo más acentuadas posible.

-La boca prominente.

4.    Nariz torcida:

-Se aclara la zona hundida y se oscurece la saliente.

5.     Nariz de lobo: este tipo de nariz tiene las fosas nasales muy elevadas.

-Se oscurecen las aletas y se aclara la punta.

NOTA: cuando hay una nariz grande sobre una cara larga la alarga más, y cuando hay una nariz pequeña sobre una cara grande la agranda más. La nariz grande envejece y la pequeña rejuvenece.

PARTES DEL OJO Y CORRECCIONES

Hay que tener en cuenta que para que unos ojos sean perfectos deben caber 5 ojos en el rostro de sien a sien. Partes del ojo:

1. Ojos hundidos:

-Línea de ojos fina y clara.
-Lápiz interior de ojos claro.
-Sombras claras y brillantes, en el párpado móvil y oscuras en el párpado superior.
-Máscara de pestañas poca cantidad (en caso de pestañas postizas deben ser en grupo).
-Cejas finas y claras.

2. Ojo prominente o saliente:

-Línea de ojos oscura y gruesa.
-Lápiz interior de ojos oscuro.
-Sombras oscuras y mates en el párpado móvil y claras en el párpado superior.
-Pestañas postizas o mucha cantidad de máscara.
-Cejas anchas y espesas.

3. Ojos juntos:

-Línea de ojos desde la mitad hasta el exterior.
-Sombras de ojos más claras en el interior y oscuras en el exterior.
-Máscara de pestañas más cantidad en el exterior que en el interior.
-Cejas separadas del entrecejo.

4. Ojos separados:

-Línea de ojos más marcada en el interior que en el exterior.
-Sombras oscuras en el interior y claras en el exterior.
-Máscara de pestañas más cantidad en la parte interna que en la externa.
-Cejas juntas y cortas.

5. Ojos redondos:

-Líneas de ojos tanto superior como inferior ligeramente horizontales y largas, y entre línea y línea aclarar.
-Sombras de párpado en forma oblicua.
-Máscara de pestañas más cantidad en el exterior.
-Cejas espesas y alargadas hacia el exterior para quitar volumen al ojo.

6. Ojos caídos:

-Línea de ojos bien marcada en el lacrimal y elevar la terminación sin alargarla.
-Sombras oscuras en la parte interna y claras en la externa.
-Máscara o pestañas postizas, más cantidad en el interior y en el centro.
-Cejas espesas en el interior, elevadas del exterior y cortas.

NOTA: en este ojo también podemos realizar el maquillaje llamado cola de pez, que es igual que el anterior sólo que la línea superior se traza hacia arriba y la inferior hacia abajo.

Long Live McQueen - Royal Wedding Part 1

After months of speculation, Catherine Middleton chose a beautiful lace detailed dress by British designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen to celebrate her wedding to Prince William. Working with Burton to design the dress, Middleton wanted a dress that combined modern and traditional elements which was true to the Alexander McQueen label.

The lace applique for the bodice and skirt was hand-made by the Royal School of Needlework using a lace-making technique which originated in Ireland in the 1820s.

Catherine's sister and chief bridesmaid Philippa Middleton wore a modified 2009 McQueen pre-fall gown which had the same lace and buttons as the bride.

Victoria Beckham looked lovely in a Victoria Beckham 2011 navy fall dress (which hid her baby bump), Victoria Beckham clutch, Philip Treacy hat and custom designed 6 inch Christian Louboutins. David Beckham looked stylish in a Ralph Lauren 3 piece suit and top hat, with his OBE medal pinned to his right lapel.

Prince Harry's on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy wore a custom made aqua green Alberta Ferretti skirt and off-the-shoulder jacket with a bow at the back, which was one of two outfits made for her by the design house for the day. The second will be a full length navy gown with cutout detail on the back. Her hat was made by milliner Victoria Grant.

Supporting Australian designers, Prime Minister Julia Gillard wore a knee-length navy skirt by Anthea Crawford, a Carla Zampatti camisole and oyster coloured Aurelio Costarella jacket. Her shoes and handbag are designed by Alan Pinkus and her fascinator was purchased from David Jones.

Puntos Activos y Pasivos de tu Rostro

Curso de maquillaje, tema: Puntos Activos y Pasivos de tu Rostro...

El rostro se divide en 9 puntos: 5 pasivos y 4 activos. Los pasivos dan expresión al rostro y los activos son los móviles.

        Activos: cejas, ojos, mejillas y boca.

        Pasivos: frente, nariz, barbilla, cuello y orejas.

A la hora de maquillar debemos corregir el defecto en sí, ayudándonos además con el resto de los puntos. Ejemplo: cuando nos encontramos con una nariz pequeña debemos aclarar las cejas, aplicar poco colorete y maquillar los labios en tonos  suaves.

En el maquillaje hay dos puntos que van relacionados entre si: las cejas con el labio superior y el mentón con el labio inferior. Ejemplo: En la cara cuadrada las cejas y el labio superior irán en triángulo y el mentón y el labio inferior en cuadrado. Así existe en el rostro una armonía.

Feeling like pasta for dinner? Unfortunately you can't eat these beautiful necklaces, but inspired by cute bow tie pasta, they look like the real thing! Available in black and silver, these items are a classic example of jeweller Lucy Folk's food inspired pieces. Taking inspiration from food such as corn chips, pretzels and seafood, Folk has created a four collections of yummy jewellery which looks good enough to eat!

After finishing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at RMIT University in 2003 with a major in Gold and Silversmithing, Folk completed an internship in Berlin with renowned design collection Chicks on Speed. Upon returning to Australia in 2005, Folk launched her range of "wearable food". Each piece is made out of 18ct silver or gold and is stamped with a limited edition number. Each piece is handcrafted so no two piece is the same.

Her kitch jewellery has been seen on rapper Snoop Dogg and singer Lily Allen, and in 2008 she was nominated as 'Accessory Designer of the Year' by Marie Claire.

Introducción Y Efecto de las Correcciones

El rostro es el protagonista de las inquietudes del visajista por hallarle soluciones o aumentar su belleza. Es el área más reconocible del ser humano, que pone de manifiesto a simple vista, según sus rasgos, el propio carácter.

Hay rostros que denotan espontaneidad, franqueza o por el contrario suspicacia, falta de alegría, etc.

Nada es constante en la belleza, y en esa necesidad de cambio reside uno de los encantos del arte del visajismo, en darle al rostro un aire de actualidad, aunque respetando siempre las exigencias de la propia personalidad, pues no se debe olvidar que en algunas ocasiones, ciertas anomalías faciales que a simple vista podrían parecernos pequeños defectos, pueden no serlo puesto que estos muchas veces son los protagonistas del detalle que acentúa la personalidad.

¾  EFECTOS DE LAS CORRECCIONES

Su función es la de corregir cualquier tipo de imperfección en el rostro. Existen dos clases: claras y oscuras, y ambas deben ser mates.

1.      Claras: Aumentan zonas hundidas, agrandan espacios, acercan e iluminan. También sirven como antiojeras y para cubrir pequeños granitos y manchas.

2.    Oscuras: Hunden y disminuyen volumen, alejan y nublan. También sirven para disimular bolsas de ojos.
