Dolce Deal

I have been stalking the Dolce Vita Pela wedge sandals since last summer. They are very strong-looking, but still have a flair of femininity. Great shoe to spice up a summer dress or low-key shorts. Needless to say, they never go on sale. They are still $159-179 at stores such as Bloomingdale's, Zappos and Saks Fifth Avenue.

I was not willing to commit to that price for two reasons: I will not wear them EVERY day and I hate worrying about damaging expensive shoes (which is inevitable when dancing all night long). But they are soooo cute...

This weekend, I found the perfect solution! The ELLE version from Kohl's. For $45! Now these are shoes I can enjoy all night long. And if I change my style in a month, I will not feel like I wasted my paycheck.

UPDATE: I found the chocolate DV by Dolce Vita Pali sandals at Steinmart on sale for $40!!  So goodbye to the Kohl's version... hello DV!
