Désir du jour - Proenza Schouler

Fortunately (or unfortunately for my bank account) the internet has changed the face of fashion.  Once previously geographically restrained, fashion can now be viewed by anyone, anytime, anywhere.  With the introduction of e-commerce, fashion lovers now have an access to clothes and accessories which was never before possible.

Fashion followers can now follow the latest trends and styles from around the world, and no longer have to wait for designs to reach their shores.  With the never-ending fashion sites and on-line stores, this provides many avenues of temptation for lovers of fashion.

With so many great things to buy, I thought I'd do a daily post featuring a désir du jour (which in French hopefully means desire of the day - shout out to my brother for thinking of the cool name!).  Hopefully one day, a sponsor will come along and allow me to fill my wardrobe with beautiful things but until then, I can only dream...

Started by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez in 2002, Proenza Schouler is a label based out of New York.  Famous for their impeccable tailoring and sleek silhouettes, Proenza Schouler have won numerous industry awards and have a strong celebrity following.

After starting as a women's wear brand, Proenza Schouler soon branched out into accessories. Today's daily desire is a Proenza Schouler PS1 leather clutch.  Available in many different colours and textures, I love that the clutch doesn't have any distinctive brandings but yet, will be recognisable to any keen fashion follower.
