Models Off Duty - 8/4/2011

There’s something enjoyable about people watching.  Where previously trends were taken off the runway, designers are now turning to street style to get inspiration.  With the rise of sites such as The Sartorialist and Garance Dore, following street style fashion has never been easier.

With models making the perfect clothes horses on the runway, it’s no surprise they are carefully followed off the runway too.  Although being told what to wear on the catwalks, many models possess their own unique style, which has inspired designers and fashion lovers alike around the world. Often mixing designer items with vintage pieces and high street buys, they show how trends can be translated into wearable fashion.

For some wardrobe inspiration, here are a selection of off-duty models:
Anouck Lepere
Love the red hat!
Arizona Muse
The green scarf brightens up a black and white outfit.
Bruna Tenorio
Not generally a popular colour in most people's wardrobe,
yellow works well with blues and neutral colours.
Isabel Goulart
Perfect outfit for a Melbourne winter.
Liu Wen
I love the touch of blue and the Proenza Schouler bag.
Sara Blomqvist
I always wished I could pull off a Russian hat!
