Style at work

Going to work everyday can be dreadful, but your desk doesn't have to be! Taking a few minutes to set up a personal oasis can result in a less stressful and more enjoyable work day. Add your own flavor to an ordinary and, almost always, dull, cubicle.

To begin, start with the essentials, such as a stapler, file folders, or a calendar. Add some character to these items by searching for cool designs or your favorite colors. This might take some time, but it will definitely be worth it. Once you have the basics covered, it’s time to add some fun and flair – think of photo frames, lamps and other fun accessories that you don’t always find on a desk. Nothing is out of bounds. Just make sure there is a common theme or color to blend all the elements into a cohesive and, therefore, calming environment.

Here are a couple of ideas that stylishly combine office needs with wants.
