Halloween costumes already in your closet

As Halloween approaches, you cannot avoid all the costumes lining the aisles of major retail outlets.  But, during this economy, a $75 pirate costume may be a bit ridiculous.  I propose that you save your money this year and search your closet for some home-made Halloween creations!  You can buy inexpensive accessories (i.e. bee sting, sailor hat, witch broom) to complete the costume, but the major part can be constructed at home.  Below are some ideas for easy costumes:
